KILLING BROOKE **** U.S.A. 2012 75 mins Dir : David Zagorski

Two young women named Chloe and Brooke decide to head to the peace and quite of the American countryside to get married. Upon successfully tying the knot they head to a bar where they end up picking up a guy called Vance and having a threesome with him on their wedding night. While Brooke at first sees nothing wrong with what happened last night, Chloe is clearly disgusted by what transpired and wants nothing to do with Vance. This causes a row between the newly married couple and their sex buddy who is told to leave but as he requires a lift somewhere so they (of course) give him a lift to the next town.
Unfortunately this is where it all goes horribly wrong for Chloe as Vance slashes her throat leaving him alone with Brooke and chasing her through the woods before stumbling across a farm house. She hopes that those inside will save her from the madman outside but the inbred family inside is worse then the person she is trying to escape from. Fans of survival horror will love this film as it is heavily influenced by THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (1974) and I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE (1978). The characters are well written and the performances by the actors add to the realism of their roles especially the inbred family. WARNING! Don't watch this movie with your headphones on as the actress playing Brooke is very much a screamer.
