FIRST TRAILER FOR 'THE TRIBE' REVEALS A HOSTILE WORLD

'THE TRIBE', a post-apocalyptic thriller from director Roxy Shih and writers Ian Paxton and Chris Manask, is set for an appearance at Cannes - with Empress Road Pictures handling worldwide sales. The film starts its prestigious run with a showing at the Nice International Film Festival, with nominations for seven awards, including Best Picture.

The film stars: Jessica Rothe (Parallels), Michael Nardelli , Anne Winters (Tyrant), and Cokey Falkow (Penny Dreadful).

After a global pandemic, few survivors remain in the world. On a remote ranch, three sisters fight to survive in the arid wasteland, equipped with the lessons their father taught them. When strangers in search of refuge come knocking, Sarah (Winters), Jenny (Rothe) and Danika (Chloe Jones) must fight back against growing intrusions, if they hope to survive. In a world where the lines between friend and enemy are blurred, the sisters struggle to decipher whom they can trust...even among their own family.

'THE TRIBE' is now complete and the film starts its film festival run with an international debut in Nice, France. Afterwards, 'THE TRIBE' will continue to make appearances at renowned film events throughout 2016.
