Film Review: NSFW (2015) (Short Film)

NSFW ***** UK 2015 Dir: Cosmo Wallace 30 mins

A vigilante blogger entraps an online paedophile and lures him into the woods. However, things are not quite as they seem and as he tries to take matters into his own hands it quickly escalates and becomes a deadly game of cat and mouse.
Starring Karl Davies (Chernobyl) and Danny Webb (Alien┬│) who are both superb. This is very well thought out and creepy from start to finish. The kids voices over the online conversation add an innocence to the actual game plan of the two men involved. The misdirection is incredibly well placed and you never know exactly who to route for.  This has some great practical FX and fight scenes with a very hard to watch eye gouge moment. The excellent score and amazing long sweeping shots of a bleak and foreboding forest setting are beautiful and frightening. A modern day horror playing on a theme that strikes fear into the heart of every parent in an all to real scenario. This is definitely one to check out.
