Film Review: OCIMOKW!! (Allez-vous-en!!) (2017) (Short Film)

OCIMOKW!! (Allez-vous-en!!) ** Canada 2017 Dir: Mathis Ottawa. 3 mins

Teenage filmmaker Mathis Ottawa made his first short film APOCALYPSE at the age of 13 in 2016, and OCIMOKW!! is the first of a planned series of similarly themed films. It is built on the simplest of set-ups, as a pair of brothers have their typical video game session interrupted by marauding zombies that have taken over their town – and incorporates a little kid zombie. It ends as soon as it seems to be getting going, with no real incentive to be excited about the next episode.
